is hiring our “starting five” founding team members and we’re looking for a founding tax credit specialist. You will work with our new and existing manufacturing clients to conduct R&D tax credit studies and preparing applications for other credits and incentives. You’ll work closely with our product and engineering teams to improve Subcity’s tools and software from client outreach and onboarding through application, filing, compliance, and internal workflow.

Big 4 accounting experience
5-7 years working in the field of tax credits and incentives
Experience with state and federal audits
IRS enrolled agent
About the role
We are looking for individuals who are interested in:
Conducting R&D tax credit studies.
Preparing applications and amended returns for various credits and incentives on behalf of our small manufacturing clients.
Drafting filings, such as petitions for redetermination, refund claims, and various other administrative replies.
Performing detailed calculations of credit and incentive benefits and client eligibility.
