Glidian is seeking a Prior Authorization Specialist to join our Team. This role will be responsible for all aspects of the prior authorization process. Our prior auth team focuses on providing exceptional customer service and meeting the needs of our clients nationwide. If your passion is service excellence and top-quality care please apply. In this role, you will:
Ensure accurate and timely completion of client prior authorization cases
Follow up on all claims requiring prior authorization within allotted time via phone calls, web services, and faxing
Accurately enter or update patient data
Organize and note statuses of authorizations
Troubleshoot problems, inquiries, and new processing procedures for coverage determinations
Support the quality of prior authorizations including auditing to identify areas of improvement
Perform other related duties as assigned
We are looking for people who have:
A High school diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred
1+ years of experience in the medical field (healthcare/hospital setting)
1+ year experience with prior authorization
Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete delegated tasks
Knowledge of medical practices, terminology, and reimbursement policies
Interest in innovating and transforming healthcare for the better
Salary: $18.00 to $19.50 per hour
