What we do

At Arena Physica, we're building electromagnetic superintelligence. Our AI platform Atlas operationalizes physics-grounded intelligence to verify, debug, and optimize hardware across its lifecycle. Atlas is already trusted globally by the world's most advanced hardware companies, including AMD, Anduril, and Bausch & Lomb, for applications across R&D, integration testing, production assembly, and field repair.

About the role

As a founding member of the Communications team, you'll own how the world hears about Arena Physica. You will shaping the narrative around what it means to be building electromagnetic superintelligence, share our story with the right journalists, and building the channels and relationships that turn a frontier technology into a story people can't ignore.

Working on fast timelines, you'll move between pitching reporters, running our social presence, and finding opportunities to share our story. You'll be a thought partner with our customers' communications and marketing leadership on joint storytelling opportunities, and and work with external authors to share our perspective.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to define a company's voice from the ground up. You'll operate with significant autonomy, working with the leadership team on what to put forward and what to hold back, and be trusted with our most sensitive and highest-stakes moments.

How you will contribute

• Pitch and place our story - build relationships with reporters at top-tier and respected publications, especially those covering hardware, deep tech, and AI, and earn coverage that establishes Arena Physica as a category leader
• Own our social presence - manage and grow our social channels, setting the voice and cadence that defines how we show up publicly
• Lead co-marketing with customers - work with the communications and marketing teams of our customers and partners on joint storytelling that amplifies both sides
• Drive thought leadership - find authors to partner with on sharing our ideas and perspectives
• Travel domestically and internationally (up to 30% of your time)
• Work in person at Arena Physica's NYC HQ when not traveling

You have

• 5+ years in communications, ideally in policy, government, or any environment where the stakes and scrutiny are high
• An established network of reporters and editors – you come in with real relationships at top-tier and respected publications, ideally in hardware and/or AI, with a reputation for getting hard stories placed
• A track record of building and growing brand presence – you've owned an organization's public voice and massively grown its reach, audience, and reputation over time
• Exceptional written and verbal storytelling – you can move from a one-line message to a full op-ed, social campaign, or executive talking points
• Experience owning and advising comms in critical moments – you've been the steady hand on high-stakes announcements, sensitive disclosures, and the moments that matter most, and you know what to protect and what to put forward
• A relentlessly creative problem solver – you find the unexpected angle and you own the execution from end-to-end

The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $225,000 yr. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we also offer competitive equity and benefits packages.
